Unlock @ Home started as the website Gsm-software.net which has had a rich and long history. Gsm-software.net started out somewhere around the year 2000 as a free download website with software to unlock mobile phones. We now have grown to a multibrand remote unlock website and unlock and repair thousands of mobile phones around the world helping people cut down the costs of their mobile phone bill.
Our history in a Nutshell
The very first website we started was Gsm-software.net, this was a website to serve the just starting community about unlocking mobile phones with a lot of free downloads. During the years the website grew to a web shop selling so called 'unlock boxes' shipping them around the world. Now we first hand experienced how much a pain in the ass (pardon our french) shipping companies like TNT and DHL can be.
In 2005 something new came a long; remote unlocking, it all started with a service for remote unlocking SonyEricsson mobile phones. This service was created for unlock shops so professional unlockers could always unlock the newest models fast and easy without updating their unlock equipment. A friend of ours started one of the first SonyEricsson remote unlock services, they now go under the brand 'DavinciTeam' and are the biggest remote unlockers for SonyEricsson in the world. Around this time we decided to start reselling the Davinciteam service but we did something revolutionary;, we didn't target unlock shops but end users. We were the very first website in the world starting to offer remote unlocking to end users. Together with davinciteam we rebuild the remote unlock software to make it as easy and clear as possible so end users with little technical knowledge could easily work with it. Also we created an instant credit selling system which stood at the base of the success of Davinciteam and various of our own websites (including this one).
In the years to follow we started to focus more on remote unlocking and more and more companies came along to try and do the same as we did and are doing; offer reliable remote unlock (& repair) service for end users with little or no technical knowledge. We own the biggest Samsung instant remote unlock & repair service in the world at UnlockSamsungOnline.com and various other remote unlock websites.
In 2008 we renamed Gsm-software.net to UnlockAThome.com and this website served as a portal for people to find reliable and save remote unlocking due to the fact that so many fake scam unlock websites arose. Now in 2010 we have decided not to send our visitors to other websites for reliable unlock websites but to go back to our roots and start offering these services ourselves directly from this website.
